Lake City Soccer Club organizes soccer for over 700 boys and girls every Fall season. There are teams for all ages, from 5 to 18 years old. Check back with this website again in late Spring to register for the Fall 2010 season.
City and State level Competition
Many of our Lake City teams participate in Seattle’s annual City Tournament every November. Game schedules and standings are available on the Seattle Youth Soccer Association website (www.sysa.org). State tournaments for every level of competition start in November and run through early March. A complete listing is on the Washington State Youth Soccer Association website (www.wsysa.com).
Keep Having Soccer Fun All Year
In addition, there are many opportunities to practice and play soccer all year round in the Seattle area. Check out the websites for Arena Sports and Starfire Sports for indoor soccer leagues, skills clinics, and tournaments. Websites for the Seattle Youth Soccer Association (www.sysa.org) and the Washington State Youth Soccer Association (www.wsysa.com) will also list year-long soccer activities.
SEATTLE YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION (SYSA) SPRING SOCCER LEAGUE
Team registration for SYSA Spring soccer is now open. Please read the following information when deciding whether to participate in SYSA's Spring Soccer league.
Spring soccer is different from fall soccer in several ways:
1. It is a team registration. Individual players do not register. Entire teams are registered by a coach.
2. Players and coaches may select their teams in the spring, whereas teams are formed by club registrars in the fall.
3. Players who were on any team within SYSA for the fall season do not need to register individually for spring -- they simply ask the coach/manager of the spring team to include them in the online roster.
4. Remember: PLAYING ON A SPRING TEAM DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR ASSIGNMENT BY YOUR CLUB TO YOUR FALL TEAM.
There are a number of options for individual players who want to play Spring Soccer in SYSA:
1. Most players play with their fall team in the spring.
2. You may play with a team of players combined from several fall teams from your club or even from separate clubs.
3. You may play on a spring team of friends or classmates.
4. You may form your own team of teammates, friends, classmates, relatives, etc., and get a parent or other coach to register the team.
5. In late February we will list teams throughout the city that have room for more players. You may contact any of those teams and ask to be placed on their spring roster. The chances of finding a team you like for spring are much better with the first four options.

THE BRITISH SOCCER CAMP IS RETURNING WITH LAKE CITY SOCCER CLUB IN 2010
Happy to announce that for a 12th year, the British Soccer Camp will be offer summer soccer camp for our club's players.
The week-long camp offers skills instruction for children aged 3 to 16, that many of you will be able to enjoy this fun "warm-up" to next year's Fall soccer season.
