Many of our Lake City teams participate in Seattle's annual City Tournament every November. Game schedules and standings are available on the Seattle Youth Soccer Association website State tournaments for every level of competition start in November and run through early March. Indoor soccer through Arena Sports or Starfire Sports might be just the thing to keep your player moving during the winter months. Maybe their Fall team wants to sign up to play together or maybe you child will want to join a house team!

U5 and U6 Academy Program

The U5 and U6 age groups will continue an Academy style program this year.  The program consists of two sessions each week of fun, interactive games, designed to maximize 'touches on the ball' and help develop the skills needed to play soccer. We will continue to have team formation with a designated coach.Team T-shirts will be provided. The roster size will be a maximum of 8 per team. They will not participate in league play on Saturdays. See our Programs page for more information.

Interested in Spring Soccer?

Is your child interested in playing Spring Soccer?  Some things you should know:

-Spring Soccer is run by Seattle Youth Soccer Association (SYSA)

-Coaches form the rosters and register the teams through SYSA

-SYSA also accepts individual registrations and helps players that need to find teams

-Spring Soccer is not about winning or losing, standings or scores, it is intended to be a fun opportunity for kids to get more touched on the ball and develop their skills.

-Games are on Sundays and most teams do not have practices

-Participation in the Spring does not influence team placement in the Fall

LCSC encourages players to talk to their friends about playing in the Fall - find a coach and form a team.  This may be based on an existing team or it could be a different group of friends.  Make it fun!  No need for club jerseys, no need for practices, play on small fields, no standings!
